Rehabilitation workshops
- Workshop sessions are held for groups of patients who need to spend greater time for each treatment session than usual. This might include patients who are developing grip function, work hardening or those with stiffness or pain (such as CRPS).
- Each patient is assessed and an activity programme is set up for them. During the workshop time, the therapists will also apply the treatment modalities requiring 1:1 work. Hand Therapists supervise the sessions at a maximum ratio of 2:1. The goals and programmes set for each patient are reviewed regularly.
