Work and leisure rehabilitation using Primus RS

We are proud to house a Primus RS work simulator which is used for assessment and treatment of hand and upper limb conditions. This impressive computerised machine enables the therapist to simulate most daily functions. For example, using a screwdriver, throwing a ball, lifting a box and swinging a golf club. These activities can then be broken down into smaller components to enable a patient to try a part of the action or against a much lowered resistance which can then the gradually increased. This tool is very popular and useful for our rehabilitation of professional sports people. A complete programme of activities is custom written for each appropriate patient.
